Q&A: What can I take or do to reverse the weight gain effects of my meds?

Question by LV: What can I take or do to reverse the weight gain effects of my meds?
I’ve been taking anti-depressants for a long time. I’ve been told by doctors they are known for alot of weight gain. I have MS too but haven’t even taken prednisone for a long time. There must be something to reverse or counteract the weight gain wheter by prescription or natural herb or something. Please help. I went from a size 10 to a 16/18 in the past year again.

The most important thing is to get active, eat healthy and get plenty of rest.
Do 45 minutes of aerobics 4-5 times a week and do some resistance training 3-4 times a week.
Take a full day off once a week for recovery.
Drink plenty of water – this can have a slight diuretic effect keeping you from holding water.
Take a good multi vitamin/mineral.

Good luck to you.
