Question by James D: How can I keep antidepressant weight gain off?
I am currently taking 10mg of Lexapro and 1200mg of Neurontin. I have been on these for about a month. My doctor will eventually wean me off the Neurontin. How can I keep weight gain off from these meds?

Good luck with that! I was on lexapro for almost 2 yrs and did not know it would cause me to gain almost 30 lbs and a gut, which I had never had before. I have been off of it for 3 weeks and working out but it is not budging.
But if you need to be on it short term, better a little chubby than not being able to deal with your problems.
