about eating “healthy” on the road..what a bunch of crap.Cheerios? Popcorn a “whole” grain? What the hell? I Can’t believe people like the dietitian are paid good money to spew the crap like that.
What happened to eating whole foods?
If you can’t trap it and kill it ,or it doesn’t grow in the ground, don’t eat it!
Since when did humans evolve on Low-fat diets and genetically modified grains with preservatives?
Caveman: I’m hungry, I guess i’ll go eat some cheerios and low fat snacks.
The worst is parents feeding their kids this garbage. No wonder the kids can’t concentrate in school, they give them Low fat,sugar-filled cereal and popcorn in the lunch bags.
Blah. Sorry for the rant.. anyone else think the way I do?
What happened to Red meat, whole eggs, butter, whole milk and so on?

You’re right. As soon as people stopped eating whole food and red meat and butter, and started eating cheerios and vegetable oil and soy milk..we have no more heart disease! thank god we no longer live in a world with heart disease, heart disease NEVER occurs anymore!
And YES, corn does grow in the ground, but the corn in our cereal and food is FAR from natural. It’s yellow dent feed corn (look that up) not yellow corn on the cob that we eat,and it’s mixed with dangerous chemicals like battery acid to obtain syrup out of it. Not good.
Poultry and fish have more fat Gram per gram than red meat does.It also DOESN’T have a high saturated fat profile, much like red meat does.Saturated fat is good for you,and does not lead to heart disease.I’d LOVE to see one study to try to prove that it causes CHD.Doctors know sweet-frig-all about nutrition.

I almost entirely agree, though I think fish and poultry are preferable to red meat. Red meat is still a natural, high-protein, zero-sugar food, though. (I hate fish… But I realize it’s good for people.)
These people keep wondering why they get fat, while they call not living on sugar a “fad diet”…
I guess they’ll figure it out someday, hopefully before they have diabetes.
You have a bunch of “nutritionists” who all believe the same junk. They learned it from other people who believed all the same junk. It’s pathetic. I wonder how many nutritionists still tell their clients to follow the food pyramid.
