Question by Sorrow & Bliss: How can I combat weight gain from depakote and other psych meds?
I’m on several psych meds, and my doctor just put me on depakote as well, which I read can cause weight gain even if you diet and exercise. I am trying to lose weight and I sure don’t need any more obstacles. Is there anything I can do to combat this?

Do you live in an area conducive to walking? The only thing I can think of is to go for lots and lots of walks.
