How do you calculate theoretical weight gain and loss of copper electrodes in electrolysis?

Question by Kevin: How do you calculate theoretical weight gain and loss of copper electrodes in electrolysis?
I did an experiment where the beginning weights of two copper electrodes were 2.5756 grams and 2.0776 grams. I ran the electrolysis at 44.8 amps for 45 minutes, and now I’m supposed to find the theoretical weight gain/loss?
The oxidation state of the Cu was 2+

1 Amp = 1 coulomb/second

So you can calculate how many coulombs went through it

96485 coulombs = 1 mole of electrons so you can figure out how many moles of electrons went through it.

But you will need to know what oxidation state the Cu had [I think Cu goes +1 or +2] as the mass plated rather depends on that
