Weight loss centres are opening everywhere with people who have big dreams flocking to these centres in the hope of reaching their dreams and losing weight.

The weight loss industry is probably one of the biggest dollar turning industries on the planet. Judging by the plethora of advertisements and ads we’re constantly subjected to, You would almost think the weight loss industry Gurus actually want to help us lose weight. Lets face facts, they are not really interested in helping anyone lose weight – They’re just in it to clean everyone out of their hard earned money, and in a very big way too.

Believe it or not, weight loss business Gurus know that the chances of people losing weight with their weight loss and diet products and keeping it off are next to none. But it is clearly not their intention to divulge in the true inside workings of losing weight and keeping it off. Think about it seriously for a second, How often do you see representatives of weight loss companies parading their results over time. Not very often at all  !!

There is no difference between that and those “make money overnight schemes” commercials you see late at night on your TV. You will always find in the fine print how results always vary between individuals and what action those individuals take. The problem is, they really don’t tell you what actions to take with their weight or diet plans. Ever noticed, how in the fine priont it always states, result will improve if follwed with a correct diet and exercise plan. Well you tell me then, what is that plan ?. That’s what they don’t tell you. If they did disclose the true methods to burning off fat, it wouldn’t be long before they would be out of businbess.

Please don’t misconceive the whole weight loss scenario – it is possible to lose weight with legitimate diet plans that really do work when followed correctly, but that’s not what this is about. This however is not really the issue. After you have lost your weight, what are the steps to keeping that weight off ? How would you like to know where to go from here ? A most important note to take in is: Many people believe that if they don’t carry out daily exercise they will get fat or put on weight as time goes by. Have you ever wondered with some of your friends or associates how they don’t put on weight regardless of not exercising. Did you actually think it was because of constant exercise and dieting

That is simply not the case, and it’s an outright lie. You will not put on weight if you don’t exercise. The reason people get fat is because they consume the wrong foods at the wrong times of the day. And that is a lot less complicated than it really sounds. In fact, most people, even health fanatics ignore this fact, If you eat the wrong foods during the day at the wrong times, your body will end up storing most of the calories you eat as pure fat and not burning it off- no matter how much you exercise and starve yourself in between, it will not make one ounce of difference.

Another surprising fact: If you are currently following a low calorie diet in the hope that you will lose weight, you may as well give it up now. It is not the one single answer to losing weight and keeping it off as permanent weight loss

Now why is this ? Because a person’s metabolism’s response to calories is to adjust itself to that level of calorie intake and then continue burning off that level of calories.

Example: If you suddenly reduced your calorie intake from 4000 to 2,000 calories of consumption each day. Your own metabolism would then effectively adjust itself so that your system now only starts to burn  2,000 calories per day.

This is why diets are never really successfull over long periods of time. It’s the same reason why other people can eat 3000 calories a day and not have any excessive weight gain, while you yourself gain fat or weight by eating just a measly 800 calories a day.
