Working Out, Losing Weight, Getting Fit

It’s never simple to lose weight. Not all people are gifted with great genes. Most of us have trouble preventing the extra biscuit from getting into our limbs. You may be slim and fit during your youth, but your metabolism rate has slowed down by the time you reach your thirties.

While fats and weight are in your body, it’s not a entirely physical thing. You also need to mentally win this game. You can’t finish this race to fitness if you are also not conditioned mentally.

Most of us find losing weight a vicious cycle. You want to lose your extra fat, but seeing yourself everyday in the mirror still sporting the weight you want to lose is dismaying. So instead of getting motivated to lose the weight, you lose the motivation to get fit, thus leading you to gain some more pounds.

Sure, you have tried every diet there is in the market. You have even gulped down different reducing medicines and so-called miracle products available in the market. You have sweated it out on the treadmill and have joined several gym memberships. But somehow, the pounds you want to lose just won’t budge. Just what exactly is wrong?

It may be a deficiency of discipline or a lack of consistency on your part, but whatever it is, it should be fixed soon because the longer you have the weight on, the worse you become depress with your lack of progress. Try switching your routine if it’s boredom that’s killing your drive to work it out. Or if motivation is the problem, present yourself a reward each time you complete something, like a treat to the movies on a weekday after a demanding jog across the town for an hour. That should help you look forward to completing your exercise routine every day.

If you still can’t lose the pounds, how about giving yourself your own stimulus plan? Instead of rewarding yourself after each time you lose weight, maybe giving yourself a reward before you even start sweating out will work.

Because losing weight is such a vicious cycle that is both physically and mentally agonizing, it is more depressing each time you step into a weighing scale and see that rather than losing the weight, you are gaining more. If this is like your own case, then give yourself a more fit body even before you start losing weight.

Why don’t you enter a fitness program that helps you lose weight faster or even ask a physician to drain off your fat if you want to. Then you can start exercising. The wisdom behind this is that you need to prepare your mind first before you enter on a exhausting routine. Seeing yourself in a skinnier shape gives you an idea that losing weight is really feasible, thus, giving you an upbeat mental attitude. It is an incentive that you would have to keep up, and would be willing to do so seeing the result already.

The motivator plan shouldn’t be misused, though. You are giving yourself one because you wish to end the vicious cycle and begin a fitness stage with a positive mindset. But relying on it fully and shunning your wellness program is not the wisest course of action to take. Remember, you desire to lose weight to stay healthy.
