As far as the Paleo diet goes…..I have cut out carbs and eat meat, protein, eggs, fruit, etc….?

Question by questiongal: As far as the Paleo diet goes…..I have cut out carbs and eat meat, protein, eggs, fruit, etc….?
and do Kettlebell almost everyday. I feel like I’m gaining weight….I feel “bulky”…..I know weightlifting makes you put on lbs in muscle….but I still feel bigger. Does this make sense? Should I take up running too? What’s with the excess weight? I don’t eat too much of anything…..just regular amounts…..HELP!

You can’t just eat healthy and then not exercise. You need to combine the two. Also, cutting out carbs isn’t a good idea. Carbs give you energy, its only when you eat carbs and you don’t use the energy it gives you, that you might start putting on weight.

Eat healthy, run each day and drink plenty of water and you will lose weight nicely and effectively.
