Question by : Can high blood pressure during pregnancy make you gain weight and swell?
Ok, so during my pregnancy I’ve had high blood pressure, and when my blood pressure is high, my hands and feet swell, and I’ve also gained almost 60 lbs so far (im 37 weeks)
My doctor just up’d my high blood pressure meds, and it seems as if the swelling has gone down whenever I take them and my weight gain has also slowed. I would just like a little insight on this! Thanks in advance!

Sounds like it could be preeclampsia.
