Q&A: is anyone else sick of all this ‘low-carb’ nonsense?

Question by A1PHA: is anyone else sick of all this ‘low-carb’ nonsense?
i go to a fitness forum or pick up a helath and fitness mag and in terms of nutrition all i here about is how all of a sudden grains/starch is unhealthy, sugars in dairy are unhealthy, only eat fats, proteins and greens. paleo/atkins/south beach – it’s all nonense.

If there are some fat bastards who eat and live like shit or bodybuilders who are too lazy to do cardio to stay trim then that’s there business. I don’t see why we should have to be dragged down with them, missing important nutrients out of our diets by completely cutting out whole foods groups. Sure you can say, don’t read it if you don’t like it, but what about all the people who are easily mislead by all this rubbish.

Its just one way to target fat loss. It has been around for a long time and shouldn’t be discounted just because it suddenly gained popularity. Mostly body builders do it pre show or just to get to a goal. It is not something they do as part of their normal lifestyle just a tool in their box.
