Why have many big food companies lobbied to pass laws in many states to make it illegal to purchase raw unprocessed foods directly from farmers? I’m also told that the FDA will take your livestock fine and put you in jail for selling raw milk. What’s this country coming to?
I think that’s insane … What’s the harm in purchasing raw unprocessed foods directly from farmers? How could the government ever make that illegal?

Given that unpasteurized milk has no benefits, but plenty of disadvantages over pasteurized, not sure why that’s a problem.
