I’ve been preparing for a 5k run and I’ve lost some weight, but I want to make sure I’m in tip top shape and I need to lose a little more weight. So I want to know what are some good meal plans for weight loss?

If you’re planning on continuing to run the marathon be careful not to lose too much weight. It can actually drain you further because you may not have enough energy storage to finish the race.
A good diet to run a marathon and safely lose weight is High Fiber and High Protein and Medium Carbs
High Fiber – Will help to fight cholesterol build up and help you process nutrients more effeciently
High Protein – Will provide slow converting energy and muscle rebuilding. This will allow more long-term exercises
Medium Carb – I will even venture to say high carb if you run a lot consistently to be able to maintain energy for the first half of the run.
