Question by .: Why do some prescription medication cause weight gain?
On a lot of prescription medication, it labels weight gain as a side effect. How can a prescription drug cause a person to gain weight? Do they slow the metabolism? Cause increased appetite?
Im taking 10mg of amitryptaline for migraines.

yes, both also if they cause drowsiness you don’t feel like being as active
